Environmental policy

Our environmental policy
We continually monitor and assess our impact on the environment to identify opportunities for improvement. We work hard to conserve our use of finite natural resources such as energy and water. We’re committed to the prevention of pollution, compliance with environmental legislation, and continuous improvement via an environmental management system.
Here are some of the ways we demonstrate our commitment:
- Blue Level certification for environmental management under the South East Carbon Hub's STEM (Steps To Environmental Management ) scheme
- We operate from well insulated premises with low energy lighting.
- Packaging and waste is recycled or composted.
- We prefer to use use recycled, natural or organic products from ethical sources; and seek out suppliers that share this commitment
- Our fuel efficient vehicle has a particulate filter to minimise emissions.
- We minimise car journeys by working virtually from a home base and actively promote shared journeys.
- We’ re proud to be part of our local community, strive to minimise noise and inconvenience; and support community activities and initiatives
- We're committed to responsible stewardship of our own land
