New website serves the tourism industry

Vivienne Boucher of Manifold Associates has relaunched its website for businesses and organisations serving the visitor economy in South East England, gateway to Europe.

Vivienne is one of a new generation of businesswomen who relishes working remotely in a ‘virtual office’, on a wide range of projects for clients incuding Tourism South East and Business Link Sussex. In addition she regularly collaborates with digital agencies and fellow consultants who value her multimedia skills.  From e-learning and training that helps small businesses get to grips with online marketing, to image research and web content, Manifold contextualises information to create content across the growing number of media platforms.

Vivienne is currently participanting on the South East Media Network's 'Digital Horizons2012' programme which runs until June this year, and her current work ranges from video scriptwriting to image research and online publishing, in addition to her training commitments

“ I find it fascinating seeing how the Internet is evolving with the increased use of social networking sites like Twitter" says Vivienne. "I find it very rewarding working with small businesses to communicate the message about the exciting online business and marketing opportunities presented by the Internet ; and I enjoy helping people understand the new focus on sustainability” .

 Vivienne, who works from a base in Kent, further explains "I hope I set a good example in online communication with my own web site! I certainly count myself among those who believe in operating their business sustainably. For example, I’m committed to recycling, shredding and composting all my office waste paper."

When it came to changing her car recently, Vivienne carefully analysed fuel economy and emissions data before making a final decision about which model to choose. She actively supports car sharing, and even took some time out to study Geology to AS level in support of further understanding environmental issues.
